Attorney Arrested Again

A Birmingham attorney is now facing a federal charge of trying to entice a minor for sex. 58-year-old Chuck Hunter was arrested on the charge Thursday, following his indictment by a federal grand jury. The arrest came just a day after Hunter bonded out of the Jefferson County Jail, whre he'd been held on a state charge, stemming from the same incident. Hunter is accused of using the internet and a telephone to persuade a person he believed to be a 14-year-old boy to engage in sexual activity. It was actually a Hoover detective. Hunter was running as a Republican for a circuit court judgeship in Birmingham, but the GOP forced him off the ballot following his arrest earlier this month.
