Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond reportedly admitted to taking part in the non-fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur in New York in 1994.
Henchman, who was being questioned as part of his drug-trafficking case, made the purported confession in a proffer session in which it can't be used against him.
It's worth noting that this Village Voice report comes from Chuck Philips, whose reporting on the shooting for the Los Angeles Times got him fired in 2008. His source for that story recently revealed himself and corroborated that report, for which the Times had issued a front-page retraction.
