REPORT: Nicki Minaj joins 'Idol' as judge

Nicki Minaj has followed in Mariah Carey's footsteps and signed on to be a judge on American Idol, Us Weekly reports.

A source tells the publication, "I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it... A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening."

Another insider tells the magazine that Minaj is "100% confirmed to judge American Idol."
