A deadly incident at the Drummond Company's Shoal Creek Mine. Federal authorities say a miner died Tuesday, after getting caught between a power center and the mine rib. CPR was administered, but the miner was pronounced dead. A spokesman for the United Mine Workers of America described the 27-year old man an "an experienced miner." The miner's name was not immediately released. Operations at the mine were suspended, while an investigation began. A shuttle car engineer was killed at the mine in March.
